We are looking for GIS Developer. The work is located at Scott AFB, IL 62225.

Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI clearance

Functional Responsibility:

• Drives content and provides thought leadership.
• Manages execution of multiple, rapid hypothesis-based fact finding efforts; Balances potentially conflicting themes and objectives.
• Generates innovative approaches to address business problems and ensures that appropriate structure is in place to support real and lasting change Minimum Education/Experience:MBA or M.S. degree with minimum of 7 years of extensive client/industry experience; Specialist in multiple functional/industry domains; Demonstrated leadership of consulting engagements in areas such as Business Strategy, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Strategy, IT Architecture Strategy, Platform Strategy, Go-to Market Effectiveness, Global Sourcing Strategy, and Innovation Strategy.

Education:

• MS/MA with preference for Geography or related physical or geospatial science such as Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Technology, Cartography, Information Technology, Computer Science, Urban Studies/ Planning, or Construction related field from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience and demonstrated ability)
• Preferred Certified Geographic Information System Professional (GISP), ESRI GIS certification, or Post-Graduate GIS Certificate
   

Special Skills:

• Experience performing geospatial modeling, analysis, and data manipulation 
• Experience creating, updating, and maintaining databases, attributes, maps, and graphs using GIS software and related equipment
• Experience using ESRI Shapefiles via ArcGIS
• Experience analyzing spatial data for geographic statistics to incorporate into documents and reports
• Experience compiling geographic data from a variety of sources including censuses, field observation, satellite imagery, aerial photographs, tabular data, databases, and existing maps
• Ability to enter map data through digitizers or by direct input of coordinate information using the principles of cartography including coordinate systems, longitude, latitude, elevation, topography, and map scales
• Experience in managing and configuring data and metadata to common geospatial standards such as SDSFIE
• Experience with requirements gathering, definition, and scoping/estimating
• Demonstrate ability to consistently and efficiently follow standard workflows and instructions
• Conversant with Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience
