Description
We are looking for ... Training Specialist. The work is located at St. Louis, MO.

Provide training services including training delivery (classroom, remote, virtual), develop and maintain lesson plans to support new and incumbent team members on service desk processes, standard operating procedures, management tools (Remedy) IT ticket management tool, workflow and change requests and soft skills. Secondary skills include IT trouble ticket support at the service desk, knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows server domain, capability to support remote trouble shooting in response to ticket, email of phone.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain training materials covering broad range of IT support functions
  • Collaborate with Government to identify training objectives, relevant content and successful completion criteria
  • Provide knowledge, skills and abilities to create, publish, manage and control SharePoint content
  • Coordinate with Government to maintain all training documentation (Reference Library) including lesson plans, instructor guide, presentation media and analyst qualification standards
  • Must be qualified on all service desk teams and provide second level support when not actively involved in providing training
Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience developing lesson plans, evaluations and other technical documentation
  • Ability to explain technical issues clearly in classroom environment
  • 3+ years experience in service desk
  • Experience with Remedy, Windows server domain (physical and virtual), LAN/WAN and Internet systems, Office 365, Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, file server environments, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), hardware installations (workstations, peripherals and servers)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in flexible environment where new service requirements and procedures are constant
  • Strong understanding of IT principles
  • Ability to provide professional, courteous support to customers
  • Training accreditation from a college/university or well-known industry institution such as Microsoft or CISCO
  • Sec+ certification
  • US Citizen and Secret clearance
