Responsibilities: .NET Software Developer

Location: Washington, D.C.

Clearance Requirement: Secret or interim secret clearance

At the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), our Technical team is responsible for developing new systems as well as enhancing existing ones. We are currently seeking a mid-level .NET Developer to join our team and help develop new functionality for existing systems.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of working experience with ASP.NET (Webforms, WCF)
• 5+ years of working experience with a variety of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
• 5+ years of working experience with Oracle DBMS and SQL Server queries and procedural languages (PL/SQL, T-SQL)
• 3+ years of working experience with the ASP.NET (MVC)
• 3+ years of working experience preparing and executing deployment scripts
• 3+ years of experience practicing standard software development lifecycle leveraging agile methodologies such as SCRUM
• 3+ years of experience with a source control platform e.g. Bitbucket, TFS
• 1+ years of experience working with Telerik controls
• Strong working experience troubleshooting applications built on .NET with a deeply curious mindset
• Experience reviewing and analyzing business requirements
• Experience developing creative mockups
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to identify areas of improvement in code base.

Desired Skills:

• Experience providing technical feasibility and estimates of business requirements
• Experience translating an idea/concept to an implementable solution
• Working experience with LINQ
• Working experience with IIS configuration
• Experience developing custom solutions leveraging SharePoint 2013/2016
• Experience with Atlassian suite of tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, and Bamboo)
• Experience with JavaScript UI Framework e.g. React and Angular
