Certification:  Have and maintain current IAT Level 2 Certification and at least one of the following subcategory certifications CCNA Security/CySA+ **/GICSP/GSEC/Security+ CE/CND/SSCP. 

Note: proof of certification required 

Experience as a Senior Service Desk LCAT (could be Senior Network Administrator)

No clearance identified

Minimum certification – Sec+CE

 

Additional certifications:

i. MICTP

ii. MCSA/MCSE (may be retired)

iii. Microsoft server architecture – at least 2012

 

Skills and knowledge:

i. Remedy

ii. Network administration (switches, routers, monitor the LAN/WAN

infrastructure – not managing, support 6 communication closets)

iii. Server administration (Microsoft, physical and virtual)

iv. Computer repair

v. Desk side support (printers, set up and replace computers, desk side training)

vi. Service desk processes (ticket management, customer interaction)

vii. Asset management (tracking computers and equipment, shipping and receiving,

RMA process)

viii. Manage laptop set up and security configuration

ix. Set up and assist with VTC equipment and audio-visual equipment

x. Reporting and deliverables

f. Additional

i. Support pilot tests and deployment

ii. Analyze solutions and make recommendations

g. No travel other than “local” (on the installation)
