SUMMARY:
As a Senior Cloud Developer on the FBI CJIS Collaboration Tools Platform– Infrastructure Team, you will play a critical role in designing, automating, and securing cloud infrastructure that supports enterprise platforms such as the Atlassian Data Center Suite and other mission-critical services. Working within AWS GovCloud and Azure Government, you will leverage modern DevOps practices to support highly available, secure, and scalable infrastructure. You will collaborate with systems engineers, software engineers, and security personnel to implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native monitoring and logging solutions, all within a SAFe Agile environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in cloud development and infrastructure engineering, with expertise in AWS GovCloud and/or Azure Government environments.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud environments in AWS GovCloud and Azure for Government, supporting the Atlassian Suite and other enterprise applications.
- Automate cloud provisioning and infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Packer, and AWS CloudFormation.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using BitBucket and Bamboo, enabling secure, reliable, and continuous delivery of infrastructure services.
- Monitor and maintain system performance and availability using tools like AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Apply cloud security best practices including IAM policy management, data encryption, network configuration, MFA, and integration with AWS Security Hub.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, and System Demos.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional teams to prioritize infrastructure-related features and backlog items.
- Support and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, perform patching, and ensure upgrades follow enterprise release cadences with minimal disruption.
- Manage and optimize cloud-based identity integrations using LDAPS, Active Directory, and Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies.
- Utilize containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS to deploy and manage infrastructure services
Work Environment:
Active Secret clearance required.
Primarily remote, with occasional on-site requirements at the CJIS facility in Clarksburg, WV, for equipment pickup or meetings.
Core hours: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM ET, with potential weekend/non-business hours for maintenance and on-call support (response within one hour).
