• Develop and maintain a configuration plan.

• Coordinate the development and refinement of CM standards and procedures.

• Create and manage release baselines.

• Establish and maintain records management of configuration items. Ensure project subsystems are properly utilizing the client provided version control software including ensuring application source code and database code is regularly checked into the tool and properly version controlled.

• Evaluate the CM environment, including but not limited to the software migration process and the standards and procedures necessary to perform CM.

• Assist the client manager in the coordination of Change Control Board meetings with application support teams and affected organizations. Recognize and communicate opportunities to add value or improve efficiency to CM processes, then plan and drive to pursue these opportunities

• Define and implement activities related to the configuration management of software development for systems and sub-systems. This may include scheduling, executing, and documenting the software build processes, compiling software with standard software development tools, packaging builds for release, ensuring appropriate project documentation is available for each new build or release, and supporting a continuous integration environment.

• Develop scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms; this includes client and server install scripts, and build and release automation scripts.

• Work with DBAs and System Architects to set up and maintain system and application environments.

• Lead partnership and collaboration with development and testing teams on key CM initiatives.

• Seek out innovative ideas, new CM tools and processes, making recommendations upon evaluation and exploration of new tools and processes.

Required Knowledge and Abilities:

• Must have experience with Jenkins with experience using Serena Dimensions a plus.

• Experience in software configuration management, software quality assurance, technical support, systems engineering, or software development.

• Bachelor's Degree in a technology discipline or equivalent work experience in a technology field.

• Excellent inter-personal skills to partner with a diverse set of stakeholders.

• Well-honed written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.

• Service-oriented attitude with excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and highly focused to deliver timely results.
