The ideal candidate possesses hands-on expertise with modern integration platforms such as MuleSoft, real-time messaging systems like Kafka, and strong proficiency in Java development. Responsibilities
- Design, Develop, and Deploy APIs: Build and manage RESTful and SOAP APIs using MuleSoft and Java, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient communication between systems and applications.
- Integration Solutions: Architect solutions that connect disparate systems, data sources, and third-party services using MuleSoft, Kafka, and Java, with attention to reliability, resiliency, and performance.
- Messaging Architecture: Implement event-driven architectures and integrate messaging systems leveraging Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and event processing.
- Platform Adaptation: Rapidly learn and adapt to new platforms and integration frameworks as business and technology needs evolve. Serve as a subject matter expert on tool selection, integration best practices, and adoption strategies.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Work with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Maintain clear documentation and technical artifacts.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and implement new integration technologies, coding standards, and tooling to optimize productivity and system robustness. Recommend process improvements and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Java/Spring Boot, and integrating with Kafka-based messaging.
- Proficiency in Java development, with strong object-oriented design and testing skills.
- Solid understanding of API concepts, RESTful architecture, and message queue paradigms (e.g., publish/subscribe, stream processing).
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn and adopt new integration platforms and technologies as they emerge.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize integration solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control systems (e.g., Git), and automated API testing frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
