Summary:
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will bridge technical and business domains to define requirements, assess business value, and support the delivery of data products within the Data Mesh architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and assess business propositions, including strategic alignment, cost/benefit, and risks, to inform decision-making.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to define product approaches that meet user needs, aligning with the business strategy.
• Map and evaluate risks related to product approaches, proposing mitigation strategies and solutions.
• Work with teams to define how user and financial benefits will be realized and measured.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on comprehensive business analysis and risk assessments.
• Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and user needs.
• Assist in the design and deployment of data products by ensuring alignment with data governance and data mesh strategies.
• Collaborate with data domain teams to develop scalable and effective data solutions that support self-service analytics.
• Monitor compliance with data governance standards, including data privacy, access control, and lineage management.
• Contribute to organizational training initiatives for data stewards and users, supporting the adoption of data mesh principles and data governance best practices.
• Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, and SAFe.
• Provide team specific training as needed.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of business analysis experience in data-intensive programs.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data mesh, and Agile delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• SAFe Agile experience required
