Responsibilities
  • Work with OCC staff to refine business, functional, and technical requirements, and scope of projects, document requirements and scope of each project
  • Perform program management activities in compliance with PMI Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK), industry best practices, supplemented by OCC procedures
  • Responsible to store program documents in repositories directed by OCC (currently Microsoft Project Online [MSPO]).
  • Respond to data calls and requests for information related to service area project management activities within timelines specified by OCC.
  • Perform any change and configuration management requirements associated with the project initiation and execution
  • Conduct program management activities in accordance with OCC’s defined processes, manage program reviews in accordance with OCC’s defined processes
  • Provide coordination and facilitation regarding project acceptance, update the MSPS project site with typical project information and schedule following the procedures and schedules indicated by the OCC
  • Employ a regular reporting mechanism to identify project tasks, present status reports, and identify potential bottlenecks, problems, and resolutions
  • Develop communications plans indicating communications channels and frequency, as well as the messaging needed, for projects that require notice to be provided to OCC staff; coordinate with OCC communications team to disseminate messages
  • Develop project plans, including time and cost estimates, assist with cost/benefit justification for each project
  • Prepare non-technical documentation required for the project, manage the production schedule of technical documents to be prepared by subject area experts and project proposals
Key Skills
  • Minimum qualifications: Seven (7) years of professional experience in a program manager role for Federal Infrastructure IT services. of similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • Required certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Man- agreement Professional (PgMP)
