We are looking for ... Business Intelligence Analyst. The work is located at St. Louis, MO.

Provide analytical skills in support of performance metrics used to measure organization's behavior, activities and performance. Support skills include measuring ITSM activities, telephony, Automatic Call Distribution (ACD), call records management, records management, billing database, data mining activities, database management and application tool development to support customer's Metrics mission. Knowledgeable in USCG approved ITSM tools (BMC Remedy) and perform duties related to the data-information-knowledgte-knowledge (DIKW) model with an understanding of the lifecycle of a trouble ticket in a commercial ticketing system.  Familiar with big data management including high level of data quality and accessibility for business intelligence and data analytics applications including skills related to Extract TRansform and LOAD (ETL) data, data warehousing, data reconciliation and data mining.

Responsibilities

• Support performance metrics, data analytics and data mining
• Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Management Studio, Structured Query Language (SQL), Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) and other forms of industry standard data connectivity concepts and products
• Build reports using report building applications such as Crystal Reports, SAP Business Objects and Remedy Smart reporting
• Familiar with Microsoft Office products (especially PowerPoint for presenting metrics results, Excel for manipulating data and graphing, Access for data comparisons and word for product documentation)
• Familiar with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and Access/Excel front-end application development
• Provide knowledge skills and abilities for team members to create, publish, manage and control SharePoint content

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience developing business intelligence queries and reports
• Strong understanding of data analysis methodologies
• Proven working experience in data collection and utilization
• Demonstrated ability to understand analytics/metrics results and identify potential anomalies
• Demonstrated ability to perform data collection integrity and validate proper results
• SQL Server knowledge, server configuration, performance testing, scripting, backup and restore
• Ability to manage content on SharePoint portal sites
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
• Ability to provide professional, courteous support to customers
• US Citizen and Secret clearance
