Job: Pricing Analyst

Responsibilities 

  • Collaborates with the finance team to develop forward-looking pricing projections, to create price quotations that are part of responses to solicitations, coordinate and gather the level of effort estimates, labor category rates and descriptions, and descriptions, and build pricing models according to solicitation instructions. 
  • Monitors and reviews solicitations, RFPs/RFIs, screen and qualify opportunities, lead or support (as needed) the development of proposals through its various phases and color review teams, and submittal of a proposal 
  • Supports management reviews, customer audits, and proposal negotiations, plus prepare explanations of cost estimates for presentation 
  • Develops key pricing strategies and compliant pricing documents for successful pricing evaluations and contract awards 
  • Performs salary surveys and other data collection required to develop appropriate pricing for various labor categories in different geographic areas 
  • Price and/or cost volume lead responsible for understanding and communicating RFP requirements, developing and presenting cost and price briefings, pricing proposals, analyzing cost data, and recommending pricing approach to upper management 
  • Prepares reports as required to support current contracts 
  • Perform other tasks as required by the OSC office 

 

Required Qualifications/Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance who can help on pricing and contracts 
  • Experience in billing, Costpoint, and DCAA/DCMA 
  • Experience in proposal pricing. 
  • Good understanding of DCCA and contracting stuff 
  • Proficiency in understanding government RFPs, RFQ’s and other solicitations 
  • Knowledge of government contract interpretation 
  • Strong ability to read and analyze financials and develop wrap rates 
  • Strong ability to work independently and in a proactive manner 
  • Ability to multi-task and assist with schedule prioritization 
  • Ability to analyze unique contractual situations 
  • Ability to create appropriate contractual documents
