Position Overview:
As a Senior Subject Matter Expert on the FBI CJIS CTP – Applications Team, you will serve as the lead authority on enterprise collaboration tools, providing strategic guidance, advanced configuration, and technical expertise for Atlassian Data Center applications (Jira Software, JSM, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Crowd), IBM DOORS, and other critical COTS platforms. You will drive the standardization, integration, and automation of tool usage across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with organizational workflows, accessibility standards, and security requirements. Working within an Agile/SAFe environment, you will also support plugin development, performance optimization, and user training to enhance tool adoption and efficiency.

You will drive the standardization, integration, and automation of tool usage across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with organizational workflows, accessibility standards, and security requirements. Working within an Agile/SAFe environment, you will also support plugin development, performance optimization, and user training to enhance tool adoption and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise application configuration, systems integration, or collaboration platform support, with emphasis on Atlassian products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience leading user training and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead the configuration, extension, and enterprise integration of Atlassian Data Center applications, including Jira Software, Jira Service Management (JSM), Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Crowd.
- Design standardized workflows, permission schemes, issue types, and automations that promote consistency and traceability across enterprise projects.
- Implement and maintain advanced plugin functionality, ensuring compatibility and enhanced performance across COTS tools.
- Develop and execute scripts (Groovy, Python, etc.) to automate workflows, reports, and administrative functions across Jira and Confluence.
- Support JSM backend configurations, including Assets Query Language (AQL) for asset management, and enforce enterprise usage models.
- Utilize JIRA Query Language (JQL) and scripting tools to create custom dashboards, reports, and workflow optimizations.
- Conduct Section 508 compliance testing for new features, plugin updates, and core applications to ensure accessibility compliance.
- Interface with REST APIs and Atlassian APIs to integrate COTS platforms with other enterprise systems and enhance tool functionality.
- Provide database-level support for PostgreSQL, including direct queries and updates to Atlassian application databases for troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, including FISMA/ATO materials and end-user guides, ensuring clarity and compliance.
- Deliver training sessions and support initiatives to enhance user proficiency, enforce enterprise standards, and increase adoption of COTS tools.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, DevOps staff, and product owners to ensure cohesive integration and performance of CTP applications.
- Support tool upgrades, release coordination, and post-upgrade testing to minimize downtime and ensure system stability.
